Even attached a rebate for my new battery. I have been a customer for many years and the dealership and service is what keeps me coming back!

Good experience

The process was simple and the facilities were very comfortable. On a very cold day in western New York, they made a distinct effort to keep us inside and warm from the moment we left the car.

I had called the dealership previous to going down, and spoke to a wonderful sales person by the name of Ethan Stephany. I told him exactly what I was looking for and what I financially could afford, and he said it was not a problem. He had what I was looking for, and I went down and a couple hours later it was mine. I never had an experience that was so easy And I’m very excited and love the vehicle.

Arrived at Hoselton for an oil change and a New York State inspection. The inspection determined that tire replacement was required. Oil change and tire replacement was accomplished in timely fashion.

I had called 2 days earlier saying I needed a new fob for my 2011 Malibu. The parts department said they had 1 left in stock. I brought my car in and waited for the work to be done. I paid for the service and thought it was strange how the service guy told me the new key needed to be wiggled to get the car to start. When I went to my car I noticed it was just a new key and not a fob. I had just paid $182 for a new key I didn't need. I went back in and the service department brought me over to the parts department which has the fob I needed. That was $175 so I paid $357 for a fob and a key I didn't need

I purchased a Driver Plus and used the coupon for an oil change, inspection and tire rotation and it was all free. Got my money’s worth for sure. The people in the service department were friendly and efficient.

I received an email for the first maintenance on our Traverse so I made an appointment online, which is a nice feature, for LOF & tire rotation. The online appointment listed no cost for the LOF and a $38 cost for the tire rotation. I drove into the garage and had to wait awhile in the nice warm garage before anyone recognized that I was there standing next to the Traverse. Finally, Sandra(?) took my information and went to the car to get additional info. She told me that the car said I needed a new engine air filter. I told her the car has less than 5K miles and since we bought it a few years ago, it has been in the garage, and the car status showing that I needed a new filter is based on time and not mileage. She was nice enough to show me how one checks the tire pressure using the steering wheel control. As we both noted, the pressures were 31-32psi in the tires. She assured me that they would correct the pressure when they do the maintenance. When I went to sign for the work to be done, I noticed that the charge was $90+. I showed her the cost I was given on my phone and she took my phone and sent the picture of the Hoselton cost to her work computer. Then she went to see someone to discuss this issue and came back saying I had to pay the full $90+ amount and not what I was given. After the LOF & tire rotation was done, I drove <2miles away to go to church and just so happened to checked the air in the tires and was surprised to see that it was 31-32psi. This happened to me last year when I took my other car in that they forgot to add air to my tires and admitted it. When I got home after church and other appointments, I sent an email to Hoselton stating that they didn’t put air in the tires and the tech person replied and apologized and asked if I would bring the car back in. It was too late to make the trip back to Hoselton so the next nice day and when in the area will do that. However, the managers, Jon & Nick from Hoselton, tried to BS their way out of the lack of air pressure in the tires saying that it was checked and never once, took the side of the customer and apologized. They claimed in their emails that customers experience a "truly exceptional experience that Hoselton strives to provide". You decide after reading this if this is true!

I don’t mind waiting for my car at Hoselton for two reasons. The waiting area is roomy and comfortable, and the service is completed in a timely manner.

It was a Monday morning with a lot of weather issues over the weekend and some power outages for the dealership. You could tell the team was very busy and trying to catch up. However, they were great with the customer and were consistently communicating with me. Service was great!

The three star is generous, Trevor was pleasant, however I was told my truck was ready to pick up but when I arrived there was a software issue and had to wait an hour. I noticed the following day the speed sign display was turned off during my service. It will not turn on , says plan needed. Please advise.

I realized my tire was going flat on the way to work and Hoselton was able to accommodate me by taking my car in and ordering the tires to be replaced that day.

Trever Clancy (service writer) greeted me and promptly began the process to change the oil, filter, and rotate the tires on my 2018 Traverse. The service was done in a reasonable time and I was on my way. A vehicle inspection was performed and he took the time to explain suggested services, without any pressure, to do them that day, which I liked. I liked Trever's approach to this, as I do not like high pressure tactics.

It was quick and easy with no pressure

I brought my car in because the interior lights stopped working and the a/c wasn’t blowing cold air. I ended up having to pay $98 and they did absolutely nothing to my car. I dropped my car off at 8:00 am and didn’t get a phone call until 2:30/3:00 to let me know what the issues were. They said the modular for the sunroof is on back order which is covered under warranty but couldn’t give any information about when it would be available. They said one of the hoses for the a/c was melted because it was too close to the engine but blamed it on an accident I had several months ago and said the collision place would need to pay to have it replaced because it was their fault. This was the worst experience I ever had at a dealership and reminded me why I never bring my car in. I will never by a Chevrolet again.

Brought car in for second time with check engine light back on. Nothing was worked on. Received no call or updates. Had to call myself, to find out they hadn't gotten to my car yet and wanted to keep my car overnight.

I don't feel that I received the service I requested. No multipoint inspection record. Dirty carpet on drivers side. No feedback on the test drive the service rep agreed to regarding engine studder at 1400- 1500 rpms. The change oil soon alert is on since the oil change.

Front Brakes done in 10/22 only lasted until 1024 , approx. 16,000 miles . Told Id only get $75 off for a new brake job . Totally unacceptable . Should be 1/2 the cost off . More like $250 .

Originally came in for an oil change Corvette on the showroom floor was of high interest to me. I made an appointment to come back and speak with sales. Manager made it very clear that there was a good deal to be made on this 24 Corvette. He politely introduced me to Ethan would be handling the sale. Ethan was outstanding from start to finish Jordan in finance. Worked tirelessly to get this done. I purchased my first Corvette in 1977 from Hoselton. And upon my return to Rochester thought of Hoselton first for my next Corvette. Period we are so glad we did.

Our service technician was great as always. I have 2 complaints. 1) being told I need new wipers every visit is outrageous, especially when I had new wipers put on 3 days before. I literally debate taking my business elsewhere because if you feel you need to grab $60 every trip I wonder what other things I pay for that aren’t needed. Issue 2 a you went a charged the full order, almost $1000 on a credit card you “had on file” that I did not approve. Why would you just charge people without them approving it? Also seems suspect to me.

The work was done well but I did have an issue with the service. I stopped in to determine cause of a Check Engine Light on a Saturday. A Diagnostic check was done, and I scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks later. I dropped off my car for my 8:00 am appointment, and never heard anything until I called at 4pm. Eventhough they had my car all day, it was just being looked at, and I was told it could not be fixed since the sensor that was on my original diagnostic was not in stock. So I had to schedule another appointment to have it fixed. As such, my 2 issues were: Having my call all day, although I would of expected it worked on when I brought it in Not being contacted about car status Not having part, although it should of been part of my appointment since that was the diagnostic reading, which was done 2 weeks prior

HOSELTON CHEVROLET is great. While I did buy my vehicle at a different dealership a few years ago, switching to HOSELTON CHEVROLET has been very rewarding. In fact, I purchased a new vehicle there last year as a result. The service is quick and hassle-free. Getting an appointment is swift and efficient online or over the phone. And the number one reason is Dawn, the service representative who greets you upon arrival each time. Dawn is a ray of sunshine, super helpful, and friendly. She keeps you informed should any further work need to happen. The whole operation is a well-oiled machine. The front desk people are friendly too. The mechanics are skilled. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

The issue I came in for was a fan that kept running when the car was turned off. That issue was taken care of, plus a couple other matters that needed attention. When I brought the car in, Dawn Shaffer cheerfully. After the assessment was done, Dawn notified me and the work started. I have done business with her before. She is quite knowledgeable and takes the time to explain matters to me.

I’m honestly shocked to receive this survey after the experience I had. I brought my vehicle in specifically requesting a computer scan due to an error message. Which had gone away the night before. But I figured I made the appointment already it can't hurt to have you scan it anyways. Instead, without any communication or approval from me, your team decided to work on the transmission—which had been functioning. Now, after your intervention, the vehicle no longer reverses properly and slams into gear. I was then told it would cost $7,500 to repair the damage—damage that only occurred after your team worked on it. When I called from the side of the road to ask what had been done, I was met with a dismissive response: “Oh well, it was bound to happen.” That level of disregard is unacceptable. Frankly, I’m astonished that a dealership can operate this way and still remain in business.

A mistake happened because my appointment was made online and it didn't go through. They got me in for an oil change anyways !

What a great service experience!

I don’t feel as though they were honest with me about my brakes. The car was braking normally and I had barely put any miles on it since my last inspection, so it does not add up that the brakes would fail inspection. But I had no choice but to pay them because I needed the inspection.

The dealership made things so easy for me. All I had to do was schedule the appointment and the y took it from there. I was contacted a few days after my car had been there with an update, then about 2-3 days later I was emailed my vehicle was ready. I was totally impressed with the body work that was done on my car; it still looks brand new. This was the BEST SERVICE EVER and I'd recommend the body shop to anyone.

First dealership that I have ever gone to for service that doesn't try to bleed you dry with repair recommendations. In fact, they have seen my truck 3 times for the same issue and only charged me for the first time they worked on it. They investigated the problem until they came up with the solution. Great experience as usual. I was greeted by Jeff in the service department, and he was great. I was looking at new Traverses while I was waiting and met Sam. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions.

Got an appointment for an engine cabin filter after the light popped up on the speedometer column. I also had a notice from Hoselton that I had saved for a small discount. While I was there, the technician reported that the front brakes were going to need replacement (if not this trip, the next). I decided now was the time (they had the parts and could fit it in) , added an oil change and tire rotation. Very appreciative that they brought it to my attention and could do it in this visit.

After leaving the dealer, I noticed the engine air sounded different during the release of the throttle, which caused me to check under the hood. The engine air cover/filter was fully unscrewed. If I were like most people and didn’t check this, it wouldn’t have been resolved. Though this is a minor issue, it raises concern about due diligence since I’m not certain what else could possibly be unscrewed.

They told me an hour wait and they were correct. Nice waiting area and friendly staff

Truck was brought in for check engine light and was checked right away and I was told it was fixed after the diesel regen process

while making the appointment i requested that the old shocks that i was having replaced be left for me to take . it was written on the invoice. i was never given the shocks . the service writer did do a good job explaining the condition of the front end regarding alignment though , but no mention of the shocks.

Staff was really kind, answered my questions, and completed the work within the timeframe provided at check in. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

My salesman (Bill B) was very welcoming and easy to work with. He put in extra effort to find me my vehicle which fit both my needs and budget!

After trying everything possible including forced updates and finding multiple error codes on the fourth visit they replaced the module that I refer to as the on-star module and thanks to Dawn’s perseverance I love my Equinox again. I am very greatful that you never gave up. Excellent service!

When on a call in my 2025 Chevy Equinox, the party I’m talking to cannot hear me. I brought it in. They did a computer update and told me it should have fixed it. I asked if they tested it and they said no they didn’t have time. Well, it’s not fixed. I brought it back today. My salesman set me up an appointment for next Saturday 6/28. He then called me later to say they don’t do that service on Saturday and actually service told him they did what they could on the 17th and there’s nothing more they can do. I have never been told that after 1 service visit. I will find someone who will help me.

Issue remains unfixed after 2 attempts and being charged both times. Water is leaking from the roof into the vehicle when it rains.

Dawn was the employee who I worked with in the service department and she was great. She got me right in and kept me posted about everything that was going on while my vehicle was being serviced.

Overall the experience was ok. The biggest frustration I have with the experience was the lack of communication and the fact that I scheduled an appointment for 8:45 am and that they checked my vehicle in as being there at approximately 7:30. The vehicle didn't get brought in and looked at until about 1:00 pm. I know that the work that needed to be done was very extensive and was going to take time to get completed. I spoke with Jeff multiple times and he did his best to keep me updated on the status but it seems that the issue is more that there weren't enough people working to be able to complete the work in a timely manner which is frustrating.

Love the Hoselton family, only place I recommend buying a car or truck.. parts are 90% available, and service at its best!

Car had a check engine light with a couple of error messages. The problem was diagnosed and a part needed was ordered. The order part arrive on the next day and the technician was able to do the install and have the car ready by the end of the day.

For the 2nd time in 2 visits, Hoselton charges a credit card without permission and before we had a chance to speak to someone about the work done. I specifically messaged Hoselton before going in giving them that card number and told them, again, under no circumstance may that card be charged, they did not have permission. I received a written assurance it was impossible this could happen as Hoselton does not have my cards on file. Hoselton literally ran the card as soon as we came in without saying a word. Not right when the car was done, but 24 hours later walking to the payment desk before speaking to my wife. So this is the 2nd time Hoselton has run my credit card they stored without Permission. Unfortunately, I can no long trust Hoselton with my service. As I bought this car with a work allowance in 2021, and am mandated to buy a new car every 4 years, Hoselton was going to have a simple trade in for the new model. That is no longer the case and my only debate internally for me at this point is if I should contact the NY state attorney general to file a formal complaint having proof they were told in advance not to illegally use it a 2nd time. The other debate i am having internally is to reach out to the Local news investigative reporter, share My story and have them see who else has had this problem with Hoselton because we were told at pickup this happened before. It is unfortunate that there is no scenario where I can trust Hoselton again. Not only did I buy my vehicle there and planned to buy a new one, I have faithfully come for every appointment recommendation and done every single repair suggested. It’s truly sad that I can no longer buy a Chevy vehicle or bring my car there. I also will no longer recommend the equinox or any Chevy vehicle when friends and colleagues ask about my experience owning a Chevy.

I have always been very happy with service but this is my second time in a row where I’ve made an appointment and I was never informed that I needed to drop off for the day. I’ve always waited 30 minutes for my service. This last appointment was just a NYS inspection that should take 30 minutes. I made the appointment early on a work day and was told I needed to leave the truck upon arrival ! I don’t understand why someone couldn’t have told me each time this ? I definitely won’t make an appointment on a work day anymore.

When I appeared for my first scheduled appointment, I was told that there was no record of my appointment and that they were unable to see me that day. When I complained I was told that their computers were managed by an artificial intelligence program and that is why there was this problem. B.... S....! The rescheduled appointment, one week later, went fine.

The job was done- tires rotated but opening the hood next day everything was covered in oil that I now have to take care of. Instead of cleaning it up right as it happened, not sure how it happened in the first place. But now everything is covered and I have to clean up mess that should not have happened on the first place. Make sure to open the hood before leaving!

Ron Corsaro is an experienced and thorough sales person. He guided me through the purchase process, helped with the current EV rebates and helped with the GM family discount. He was promo, efficient and knowledgeable. I was introduced to the sales manager and worked with the finance manager to take advantage of the current GM financing. It was a seamless process, which I sincerely appreciate. Since delivery, the service manager has reached out to me to schedule the first EV service (tire rotation). Hoselton has been around as long as I can remember and they are truly a well oiled machine that puts the customer first. Their large inventory gives one options on various model and trim levels. Favorite thing - Ron Corsaro made the transaction easy, along with the Hoselton team. Cons - I would suggest tightening up the information conveyed around EV purchase, which was somewhat vague as it referred to home charging (charger was not included), as well as the need to purchase the Tesla SuperCharger adaptor at additional cost. In all fairness, anyone buying an EV should do their homework regarding the "EV lifestyle" before venturing in to buy one. In GM's defense, I did get an immediate call from GM Energy offering to assist with any home charging hardware and installation. Finally - We love the 2025 Equinox RS EV.. I drove it several hundred miles in the first week and went through the on the road DC fast charging learning curve which was an interesting and kinda fun learning experience. The SuperCruise and one-pedal operation are my favorite features. To conclude, this was a great experience made easy by Ron and the Hoselton team. Highly recommended from a person that has purchased 10 brand new GM vehicles in a row.

The sales experience was pleasant, professional, and low key. Our salesperson Bill Bilia was knowledgeable and was able to get us a test drive in a suitable vehicle in short order. Once we’d selected our Equinox EV, he handled all details and guided us through the process. We were able to complete the sale by the next morning.

You did pretty good. The automated online appointment scheduling was not working properly. It failed (kicked me out) on the first two attempts. I got operator to connect me to a human and that solved the problem.

I am totally pleased with the service I received at Hoselton Chevrolet for my 2018 Chevy Traverse to replace the left front headlight assembly, due to a failed day time running light, LED light bar. While I am disappointed with Chevrolet that this failure occurred, I was totally happy with the great service, and service advisor Paul Pompon. Paul went the extra mile to work with the extended warranty company, to get the repair covered. Much to my surprise and pleasure, the repair was completed very quickly and efficiently. Thanks Paul, and Hoselton Chevrolet.

Came in for a NYS Inspection. Found that 3rd brake light had to be replaced. Told me $387 and 1/2 hour time. Had to have it done so said OK. One hour later I went to service for update. Service Advisor Glenn said he was wrong, was 2 hours, so still had 1 hour to go. I was not happy, told him I wanted a price reduction for the inconvenience, he said OK. When car was done he said his manager gave a price reduction, and showed me a bill for $490. Told him not acceptable, I want a reduction off original quote. He went back to some manager, and came back with the original price of $387. Not acceptable. I asked to speak to a manager, and talked to Nick in service.After a discussion, Nick lowered the price to $353, and gave me an additional free service on my 2025 Equinox that I purchased at Hoselton last November. I am disappointed in this service experience , and would like some feedback to see if anyone actually reads this, and does care about customer service. At this point I would not recommend Hoselton Service, and I would not go back for service after my warranty expires.

Paul is the best in the business, well organized efficient keeps things moving! If Paul worked for me he would be a tough one to lose, a raise is what Paul deserves, the best in the business I have ever seen. Unfortunately my car salesman Ronnie was not in as I was told he was bed ridden from a long night at Iron Smoke, hopefully he will have a swift recovery. Overall GREAT Experience!!!

My 3 year least was up and I needed to find another vehicle. I was a little reserved when I was approached by a very young female salesperson. After a couple of test drives, going over the figures and realizing my budget limits, I was not sure how it could all work. The salesperson made a suggestion to me that opened up a complete new approach, which ended in a great offer and a deal was made! She more than met my expectations!
